Superb teak Model 4058 VB Wilkins sideboard with Afromosia handles by G Plan - Mid Century Modern - Heals

A superb design that Victor Bramwell Wilkins created in 1967, for the Gplan line of the prestigious British label E. Gomme Ltd. It is the model 4470, which initially came on the market as "G-Plan Scandinavian style" and a year later passed to belong to the range of dining rooms Brasilia, which followed the Scandinavian style so popular during that decade. Structure in teak wood, the front of the piece of furniture is organized in four streets: in the central part, a group of 4 drawers (the compartmented top and upholstered base) in the right bar cabinet with a hinged door and to the left a double door module that hides a large space with fixed shelf. The body stands on a frame of turned legs joined by an arched crossbar, unmistakable design of the brand.

A great addition to any mid century - modern home or office
